Aspire launches AspireBooks, bringing AI-powered accounting directly into its financial platform
Built with Singapore accounting experts to help businesses manage their books across currencies and markets.
SINGAPORE, 26 Oct — Aspire, the finance stack for global businesses, today announced the launch of AspireBooks, its AI-powered multicurrency accounting platform that brings bookkeeping, reconciliation and financial reporting directly into the same platform businesses use to manage their money.
The launch marks Aspire's expansion into accounting software, a market traditionally dominated by providers such as Xero and QuickBooks, as it advances its vision to deliver the agentic future of corporate finance.
For decades, businesses have relied on separate systems to move money and account for it. Payments are processed through banks and financial platforms while records, bills and invoices sit in separate accounting tools. This creates tedious classification and reconciliation work and often means businesses are making decisions based on outdated financial information.
AspireBooks changes that model by bringing accounting directly into Aspire's financial platform, introducing continuous bookkeeping. AI agents automatically classify transactions, recommend accounting categories and tax treatment, and match payments against invoices and bills, keeping financial records up to date as transactions happen. Users simply review and approve entries, keeping their financial records up to date as transactions happen rather than reconstructing them at the end of each month.
“In all my years as a founder, I've seen how much time businesses spend trying to close their books. It's a recurring headache, largely because corporate banking and accounting have always operated as two separate worlds,” said Andrea Baronchelli, co-founder and CEO of Aspire. “With AspireBooks, we're bringing these two worlds together so accounting happens as a natural part of running a business, rather than becoming a separate exercise at the end of every month.”
The launch responds to growing customer demand for seamless, automated accounting solutions. Aspire's internal research found that 41% of its customers still manage their bookkeeping manually, while 63% would be willing to use an AI-powered accounting solution.
Accounting built into everyday business financeAspireBooks is built to bring the future of bookkeeping to every business.
- AI accounting capabilities: From managing bills and invoices to maintaining a general ledger, AspireBooks brings everyday financial transactions and accounting together in one place, without the need for separate accounting software.
- Continuous closing: Profit and loss statements, balance sheets, trial balances and general ledger reports stay up to date as transactions happen, giving businesses a clear view of their finances without waiting until the end of the month.
- Multicurrency: Record and manage transactions across multiple currencies, making it easier for businesses operating across borders to maintain their accounts.
- Financial insights: Through Aspire's Model Context Protocol (MCP) integration, customers can ask questions about their financial statements in plain language, and get recommendations they can directly act on.
- Multi-entity (coming soon): Businesses will be able to manage the books of multiple entities in one place, making accounting seamless for companies operating across different markets.
AspireBooks was developed in collaboration with Singapore Accountants, which provided accounting expertise and alignment with Singapore accounting standards, while supporting product testing with customers.
“For growing businesses, the real value of accounting lies in decision-making, not data entry. By embedding accounting within the platform where money already moves and applying AI to the repetitive work of categorisation and reconciliation, AspireBooks keeps the books current and frees the accountant’s time for review, compliance and advice. We are proud to have helped shape it as a founding accounting partner.” said Haroon Naseer, Director Financial Reporting, Singapore Accountants.
