A Step-by-Step Guide on How to Sell on Lazada Singapore 

To learn how to sell on Lazada Singapore, just follow these four simple steps. 

Step 1: Register a seller’s account with Lazada.

On Lazada’s seller centre website, you’ll be given three options: Lazmall Seller, MarketPlace and RedMart. LazMall offers local and international sellers a curated channel to sell branded products. Local sellers in Singapore can choose to sell on MarketPlace with 0% commission. RedMart is for those who want to sell groceries such as fruits, vegetables, meat and pet products. 

Select ‘Local Seller’ to list your products for free. But before you sign up, check that your products are not on the Lazada seller’s prohibited list. Some of the products that you cannot sell on Lazada Singapore are:

To proceed with your sign-up, you will need to upload certain documents and get them verified. As an individual seller, you will need to upload a front and back copy of your NRIC. Corporate sellers need to upload ACRA data. 

You will also need to upload your bank details and present your credit card statement for verification. Usually, verification is completed in a day or two.

Step 3: List your products

Next, you’ll be directed to the seller centre’s main page. You’ll be prompted to complete a to-do list. Key in your address and shipping details, then click ‘Upload Your SKU’ to begin uploading your products.



The good news is that the process is relatively simple. Lazada has a content score bar at the bottom of the page to help you optimise your product profile. But the process may be labour-intensive for some and takes a while due to the many details required to list a product.




However, this lengthy process still has its benefits. It keeps you in compliance with Lazada's strict requirements for independent businesses and encourages seller professionalism. Keep going until you have filled in your product price, quantity and weight.

If you sell on LazMall, you will have to pay between 3% and 5% commission fees. In addition to this, you will have to pay 2% transaction fees. There will also be a 7% GST charge on both. 

To sell on MarketPlace, you will be charged a 2% commission and a 2% payment fee. Here too, you will have to pay 7% GST. 

There is no fixed commission fee that you will pay on RedMart. Instead, it will be negotiated at the time of listing.

Why is my Lazada Seller account deactivated?
