Aspire Ignite
Who is eligible to join the programme?
- Startups must be incorporated in APAC
- Startups must be existing Aspire customers or apply for an Aspire business account upon acceptance to the Aspire Ignite programme
- Startups must have secured some form of pre-seed funding
How will I know I've been selected to join the Aspire Ignite programme?
You will receive an email confirmation or rejection (at the email address you provided upon registration) of acceptance to the Aspire Ignite programme.
How much time commitment is the programme for startup founders?
Expect to spend about 1 hour every couple of weeks attending the Aspire Ignite programme in person in the CBD. If you are selected as a top startup, you will also be eligible for 1:1 VC matching, which will require more commitment time to meet with these VCs.
Will the programme be run in-person or online?
If you are based outside of Singapore, the events will be available online as well.
Must I participate in the entirety of the programme to be eligible for 1:1 VC Matching?
You should attend the Aspire Ignite program to gain valuable insights and tips on fundraising and pitching your startup to help with your pitch deck submission. To be eligible for 1:1 Matching, you must be part of the Aspire Ignite Programme, and must submit a pitch deck before the deadline. Selected top startups are then selected for 1:1 VC Matching.
How are the Aspire Ingite finalists selected for 1:1 VC Matching?
VC Partners of the Aspire Ignite Programme will select finalists based on the quality of their pitch deck submission, along with alignment with their individual investment interest areas.
Can I pick which VCs I want to meet for 1:1 VC Matching?
If you are selected as a Aspire Ignite Finalist, you can indicate which VCs you would like to meet, but a 1:1 meeting with chosen VCs cannot be guaranteed.
Am I guaranteed funding at the end of the Aspire Ignite Programme?
You are not guaranteed funding at the end of the Aspire Ignite Programme, funding decisions are left to our VC partners. However, if you are selected as a top startup, you are eligible for upsized rewards with Aspire and our partners.
