Aspire × HeyMax Air Miles Programme Terms
1. Introduction
1.1. These Aspire HeyMax Air Miles Programme Terms (“HeyMax Terms”) govern your participation in the HeyMax Air Miles Programme and describe how you may qualify for, earn, retain, and/or forfeit Max Miles. These HeyMax Terms are supplemental to and form part of the Master Service Agreement (“Agreement”) and the Product Schedules.
1.2. Please read these HeyMax Terms carefully together with the Agreement and the other Product Schedules (as applicable). Capitalised terms that are not defined in these HeyMax Terms shall have the same meaning assigned to them in the Agreement or the other Product Schedules (as applicable).
1.3. You may participate in the HeyMax Air Miles Programme only after Aspire has enabled you for participation, and you have opted in through the Aspire application by providing your HeyMax account email and accepting these HeyMax Terms. In the event of any conflict relating to the HeyMax Air Miles Programme between these HeyMax Terms and any other terms, agreements, or policies set forth in the Agreement, Product Schedules, or promotion terms and conditions, these HeyMax Terms shall govern.
1.4. Aspire may update these HeyMax Terms with or without notice to you by posting an updated version at any time. Max Miles earn rates, eligibility, and the HeyMax Air Miles Programme itself are subject to changes, including elimination, at any time. Continued participation, which is reflected by continued use of the Aspire Card and Aspire Account after the date you opted in, constitutes your agreement to be bound by any such changes.
1.5. You may participate in the HeyMax Air Miles Programme only if you accept all of these HeyMax Terms. If you no longer wish to participate, you may contact Aspire at support@aspireapp.com to request to be removed from the HeyMax Air Miles Programme, subject to Clause 7.
2. Eligibility and Qualifying Spend
2.1. To be eligible for the HeyMax Air Miles Programme, your Aspire Account and Aspire Card must be open and in good standing, and your business must have been selected by Aspire to participate. If your Aspire Account is not in good standing for any reason, or we determine in our sole discretion that you are abusing or misusing the HeyMax Air Miles Programme or have otherwise violated the Agreement, other Product Schedules, or any of the terms, agreements, and policies of Aspire, you will no longer be eligible. We may condition, restrict, limit, revoke, or clawback Max Miles in our sole discretion.
2.2. The HeyMax Air Miles Programme allows you to accrue air miles (“Max Miles”) when you make a Qualifying Spend (as defined in Clause 2.3) on an Aspire Card. Max Miles are issued and administered by HeyMax under HeyMax’s own terms of service. Max Miles may only be available in connection with Aspire Card purchases and not any other product or service offered by Aspire.
2.3. “Qualifying Spend” means all settled transactions on Aspire Cards posted to your Aspire Account on or after the date you opted into the HeyMax Air Miles Programme, excluding ineligible transactions. Pending, authorised-only, voided, or unsettled transactions are not Qualifying Spend.
2.4. Ineligible transactions include:
(a) Government services and tax;
(b) Bill payments (Insurance, Utilities and Telecom);
(c) Groceries;
(d) Real estate and property management;
(e) Local transport, parking and freight;
(f) Prepaid instruments and cash equivalents;
(g) Education;
(h) Non-profit and organisations;
(i) Gambling and lottery;
(j) Financial services, cash advances, wire transfers and quasi-cash;
(k) Fees, charges, interest, fines and disputes; and
(l) Any transaction we reasonably suspect to be fraudulent, abusive, or made primarily to generate Max Miles.
2.5. Notwithstanding the above, Aspire may determine that a transaction type, a particular transaction, or a particular merchant category is excluded from eligibility for earning Max Miles in its sole discretion at any time.
2.6. For any transaction that does not qualify as a Qualifying Spend but for which you have already received Max Miles, or if Max Miles were otherwise awarded in error, Aspire and HeyMax each reserves the right to clawback such Max Miles, including against your remaining or future Max Miles balance.
3. Earn Rates
3.1. Max Miles are earned at a rate determined by the merchant category code (“MCC”) assigned to each Qualifying Spend by the relevant card network. Aspire does not control the MCC assigned by a merchant or network and is not responsible for incorrect MCC assignment.
3.2. The earn rates in force as at the effective date of these HeyMax Terms are set out below. The earn rate is expressed in Max Miles per S$1 of Qualifying Spend (“mpd”).

3.3. The current list of merchant categories and their tier assignment is maintained by Aspire and published at [link to earn rate page]. Aspire may reclassify any category, change any earn rate, add or remove MCCs from any tier, or introduce caps or floors on Max Miles earned per month or per Qualifying Spend, at any time and in its sole discretion.
4. Crediting of Max Miles
4.1. Max Miles are calculated on a monthly batch basis. There is no real-time crediting.
4.2. The cut-off for each monthly cycle is on the last calendar day of the month. Only Qualifying Spend that has settled on or before the cut-off will be included in that month’s calculation. Qualifying Spend that settles after the cut-off will be included in the following month’s calculation.
4.3. Following the monthly cut-off, Aspire will share the aggregated Qualifying Spend volumes with HeyMax, and HeyMax will credit the corresponding Max Miles to your HeyMax account. The crediting process for each cycle will be completed within ten (10) working days, subject to HeyMax’s own processes.
4.4. Max Miles will be credited only to the HeyMax account linked to the email address you provided when you opted in. You are responsible for ensuring this email address is accurate and that the corresponding HeyMax account is active. Aspire will not be liable for Max Miles credited to an incorrect, outdated, or unauthorised HeyMax account where the email was provided by you.
4.5. Once credited, Max Miles are subject solely to HeyMax’s terms, including in relation to expiry, redemption, transfer, suspension, and forfeiture. Aspire does not redeem, hold, or guarantee Max Miles and has no obligation to replace Max Miles that are lost, expired, forfeited, or suspended.
4.6. Max Miles may be reversed, deducted, or clawed back from your HeyMax account in the subsequent cycle if any Qualifying Spend (in full or in part) is subsequently cancelled, suspended, frozen, charged back, or refunded. Each of Aspire and HeyMax reserves the right to effect such clawback, including against your remaining or future Max Miles balance.
5. Effect of Opting In
5.1. By opting into the HeyMax Air Miles Programme, you instruct Aspire to deactivate any Aspire cashback programme then applicable to your business with effect from the date you opt in (the “Opt-In Date”).
5.2. With effect from the Opt-In Date:
(a) the Aspire cashback programme will be disabled for all Aspire Cards issued to your business, including cards held by Authorised Users;
(b) no cashback will accrue on any transaction made on or after the Opt-In Date; and
(c) any cashback that has accrued but has not yet been credited as at the Opt-In Date will be forfeited.
5.3. You are responsible for informing the Authorised Users on your account of the change.
6. Data Sharing with HeyMax
6.1. To operate the HeyMax Air Miles Programme, Aspire will share the following information with HeyMax on a recurring basis:
(a) an identifier for your business;
(b) the HeyMax account email address provided by you, and the name of the Authorised User who opted in;
(c) the Opt-In Date and, if applicable, the date the HeyMax Air Miles Programme was disabled for your business;
(d) aggregated Qualifying Spend volumes per cycle, broken down to the extent required to calculate Max Miles; and
(e) adjustments arising from refunds, reversals, chargebacks, or clawbacks.
6.2. You confirm that you have all necessary rights and authority to provide this information and to instruct Aspire to share it with HeyMax. HeyMax processes this data as an independent controller under its own privacy policy. Aspire’s processing of data in connection with the HeyMax Air Miles Programme is governed by the Aspire Privacy Policy.
7. Switching Back
7.1. Switching back from the HeyMax Air Miles Programme to the Aspire cashback programme is restricted and is not supported through the Aspire application.
7.2. If you wish to switch back, you must contact Aspire at support@aspireapp.com. Switching back will be considered on a case-by-case basis at Aspire’s sole discretion and is not guaranteed. Any Max Miles already credited to your HeyMax account will not be reversed or converted into cashback, and any Qualifying Spend made before the switch-back date that has not yet been counted toward Max Miles will be forfeited.
8. Taxes
8.1. Aspire understands that Max Miles may qualify as taxable income for you. You are solely responsible for determining and obtaining appropriate tax treatment for any Max Miles you receive. You are solely responsible for any tax liability arising from or related to any earned Max Miles. Aspire will not report any income or earnings related to Max Miles to a taxing authority, except where expressly required by law.
9. Losing Max Miles
9.1. If your Aspire Account is voluntarily closed and your Max Miles have not been credited to your HeyMax account yet, you will lose any remaining Max Miles.
9.2. If your Aspire Account is suspended or closed for any other reason, your Max Miles may be lost or forfeited, subject to Aspire’s sole discretion.
9.3. You may be disqualified from participating in the HeyMax Air Miles Programme if at any time:
(a) you have been deemed in Aspire’s discretion to abuse the HeyMax Air Miles Programme or breach any other agreements with Aspire;
(b) Aspire has reasonable grounds to believe that you or an Authorised User on your account have engaged in any fraud or material abuse of the HeyMax Air Miles Programme;
(c) you engage in self-dealing; or
(d) you attempt to or otherwise game or misuse the HeyMax Air Miles Programme.
9.4. Where Aspire determines, in its sole discretion, that you or any Authorised Users no longer satisfy the requirements for participation, Aspire may disqualify you from the HeyMax Air Miles Programme, and you may lose or forfeit any Max Miles that you may have earned.
10. Miscellaneous
10.1. Aspire may terminate the HeyMax Air Miles Programme at any time. If the Agreement is terminated, these HeyMax Terms will also immediately terminate.
10.2. To the maximum extent permitted by law, you agree to release Aspire from all liability for your participation in the HeyMax Air Miles Programme. You further agree to release Aspire from liability for third-party claims, including any acts or omissions of HeyMax, in accordance with these HeyMax Terms.
10.3. If any provision of these HeyMax Terms is found to be invalid, unlawful, void, or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall be enforced to the fullest extent possible and shall remain in full force and effect.
10.4. You agree that if Aspire does not enforce any of its legal rights or remedies under these HeyMax Terms, or any other legal rights or remedies under applicable laws, it shall not be construed as a waiver of those rights or remedies.
10.5. These HeyMax Terms will be binding on, inure to the benefit of, and be enforceable against the parties and their respective successors and assigns. You may not assign or transfer these HeyMax Terms or your rights hereunder, in whole or in part, by operation of law or otherwise, without our prior written consent. Aspire may assign these HeyMax Terms or any of our rights or obligations under these HeyMax Terms at any time without notice.
10.6. You understand and agree that these HeyMax Terms are solely between you and Aspire, and that the HeyMax Air Miles Programme is offered and administered by Aspire and not by any other third party, including HeyMax or the issuing bank of the Aspire Card. Your relationship with HeyMax in respect of your HeyMax account and the redemption of Max Miles is governed solely by HeyMax’s own terms.
10.7. These HeyMax Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with Singapore law.
11. Definitions
In these HeyMax Terms:
11.1. “Agreement” has the meaning ascribed to it in Clause 1.1.
11.2. “HeyMax” means Max Rewards Pte. Ltd., the operator of the HeyMax platform.
11.3. “HeyMax Air Miles Programme” means the programme made available by Aspire to you under these HeyMax Terms, under which Qualifying Spend earns Max Miles.
11.4. “HeyMax Terms” has the meaning ascribed to it in Clause 1.1.
11.5. “Max Miles” has the meaning ascribed to it in Clause 2.2.
11.6. “MCC” has the meaning ascribed to it in Clause 3.1.
11.7. “Opt-In Date” has the meaning ascribed to it in Clause 5.1.
11.8. “Qualifying Spend” has the meaning ascribed to it in Clause 2.3.
